Baker Center Hosts Second Event in its Constitutional Conversations Series
Faculty from across the University of Tennessee campus came together on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at Blount Mansion in Knoxville to join in conversations focused on the great debates central to the 1787 Constitutional Convention — issues of representation, free speech and equality. The evening was the second in the Baker Center’s series of enriching conversations centered on the country’s founding principles.
The Constitutional Conversation series is sponsored by The Boyd Fund for Leadership & Civil Discourse and the Institute for American Civics. To facilitate these conversations, the Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy worked with Jeffrey Rosen, President and CEO of the The National Constitution Center and Stewart Harris of Lincoln Memorial University.
